
Curriculum Overview
General
The Regional Science High School has a core curriculum which aims to develop the student in all disciplines. Students experience a demanding Science, Mathematics and English curriculum. Additional subjects and electives for these major subject areas include: Earth and Environmental Science, Technical Writing & Basic Statistics for the First Year curriculum; Geometry and Botany for the Second Year curriculum; Advanced Statistics and Zoology for the Third Year curriculum; Advanced Chemistry, Research in Science and Differential Equation for the Fourth Year curriculum.
Core Curriculum
The core curriculum is packed with science and mathematics courses, allowing the student to maximize their potential intellectual skills. This is balanced by rich humanities course offerings which foster the full growth of each individual personality. The science and mathematics subjects are generally advanced. These subjects include Advanced Algebra, Differential Equation, Advanced Statistics, Advanced Chemistry, Advanced Physics. Biology and Botany are offered as separate subjects. Computer Science is offered in the first and second year levels.
